About:

I am an equity strategist, public speaker, and DEI professional with a deep passion for advancing restorative community-led equity. I believe we each have a unique sphere of excellence that can be developed through equitable and inclusive design. A first-generation Afro-Latina American and a college graduate from Utica, NY, my formal work as an anti-oppressive consultant began at Harvard University in 2016, in response to the disparities in education experience, outcome, and design for students of underrepresented identities.

Since 2021, HMJ Consulting has designed and delivered DEI trainings, cultural shift programs, leadership and soft skills development tools, community empowering events, equity audits, and transformation projects for school districts, non-profits, and businesses throughout New York state, Massachusetts, and Panama.
